As one of the key technologies for building a new type of power system with new energy as the main body, flexible DC transmission technology represents the highest level of power transmission technology in the world today. The ±800kV/5000MW ultra-high voltage flexible DC transmission converter valve independently developed, designed and manufactured by the company has been successfully applied in the key national project of West-to-East Power Transmission (the U-Dengde Hydropower Station to Guangdong and Guangxi UHV Multi-Terminal Flexible DC Transmission Demonstration Project of China Southern Power Grid), marking that the company has become one of the suppliers capable of providing the largest capacity and highest voltage level of similar products in the world. In addition, the company has also participated in many national key flexible DC transmission projects such as Baihetan of State Grid, Rudong Offshore Wind Power in Jiangsu, Back-to-Back of Guangdong Power Grid, and Yangzhou Qingzhou Offshore Wind Power in Three Gorges.

In 2024, the company successfully won the bid for the Saudi Arabia Central-West Flexible DC Project. This was the first time that RXHK's flexible DC products were implemented in an overseas market, marking a significant breakthrough for the company in achieving the export of its independently developed high-end flexible DC transmission technology, standards, and equipment.
