Port Shore Power

After berthing, vessels typically rely on onboard diesel generators for power. Emissions from marine fuel combustion – including nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx), CO₂, and particulate matter – significantly pollute port environments and surrounding areas.

A shore power system enables seamless transfer of a vessel's electrical load to shore-based infrastructure by connecting to the dock's power supply while shutting down shipboard generators. To meet the 60Hz power standard required by international vessels, specialized frequency-converting shore power equipment must transform the shore grid's 50Hz supply to 60Hz.

The application of shore power supply system can greatly reduce the pollution emission when the ship is berthing, reduce the emission ratio of nitrogen oxide, particulate matter and sulfur oxide by about 90%, eliminate the noise and vibration generated by the generator on board, improve the operation and living environment of the crew, and reduce the unit loss and maintenance.

Fixed DC De-icer

The fixed DC de-icing device converts AC power to adjustable DC voltage through a thyristor rectifier valve. The voltage is then passed through a smoothing reactor and a DC de-icing switch to be connected to the transmission line that needs de-icing, thus forming a DC circuit on the line. Due to the resistance of the transmission line, the DC current passing through will raise the temperature of the line, thereby melting the ice on it and achieving the de-icing purpose. 


Meanwhile, by controlling the triggering angle of the thyristor valve, the magnitude of the DC current added to the transmission line can be continuously and precisely adjusted in real time, thereby accurately controlling the temperature of the transmission line and achieving safe and effective line de-icing. 


The fixed DC de-icing device can safely, efficiently and rapidly perform fully automatic intelligent de-icing on transmission lines and ground wires of 66kV, 110kV and above voltage level substations in power systems that are prone to ice and snow freezing disasters.

Porcelain insulator

Porcelain insulators are mainly used in HV overhead transmission and distribution lines to insulate and support conductors. Different types of insulators, such as ordinary and pollution-proof types, are selected based on different pollution areas. They are also used in strings according to different voltage levels.

Porcelain insulators include HV suspension porcelain insulators, HV line post porcelain insulators, high-voltage line pin porcelain insulators, and high-voltage porcelain cross-arm insulators, with strengths of 40kN, 70kN, 120kN, 160kN, 210kN, 300kN, 420kN, and 550kN. They are used in strings according to different voltage levels: 35kV uses 3 pieces per string, 110kV uses 7 pieces per string, 220kV uses 14 pieces per string, and 500kV uses 28 pieces per string. For insulator strings of 220kV and above voltage levels, suspension products with a strength grade of 100kN or above are used.

Porcelain insulators have a long history of use in China. They are safe, reliable, and not prone to aging. Their service life is generally over 30 years, and the annual deterioration rate is less than 0.01%.

Hollow Composite Insulator

Hollow composite insulators are mainly composed of glass fiber reinforced winding tube parts, silicone rubber climbing skirts and connecting flanges. 


Epoxy glass fiber reinforced winding tubes are the insulating inner components of hollow composite insulators. They are processed by winding with a special winding machine using epoxy resin pre-impregnated continuous alkali-free glass fibers in accordance with mechanical layering design, and possess excellent mechanical strength and dielectric properties. Silicone rubber creepage skirts serve as the outer insulation of hollow composite insulators, undertaking necessary electrical performance such as protection and providing creepage distance. The connecting flange is made of aluminum by die-casting and uses a unique bonding technology to transfer mechanical loads and provide sealing for the supporting and connecting structure. Hollow composite insulators are applicable in 40.5kV to 550kV power systems, such as SF6 transformers, SF6 circuit breaker sleeves, lightning arresters, high-voltage bushings, section capacitors, and cable terminals, among other high-voltage electrical products.

Large capacity static synchronous compensator STATCOM

TATCOM is mainly used to provide dynamic reactive power and voltage support to the power grid. The device connects a voltage-source converter in parallel to the power grid through a reactor or transformer, automatically adjusts the amplitude of the output voltage on the AC side of the converter, rapidly absorbs or generates the required reactive power, and achieves the purpose of rapid dynamic voltage regulation and enhancing the stability of system operation.

The STATCOM products are mainly targeted at overseas markets and international customers in the field of new energy AC grid connection, and have been exported to regions such as Europe, America, Oceania and Africa. Oil-impregnated paper bushings are manufactured by alternately winding insulating paper and aluminum foil around a conductive tube according to design specifications to form a capacitor packet.
